The Parish Council has been notified of two proposed temporary road closures in Gussage All Saints in August. Both notices can be seen embedded below (as PDFs) or can be downloaded as PDFs, in the below sections.

Proposed temporary closure of Custard Hill, Gussage All Saints

Dorset Council have received an application from Centurion Traffic Management to close Custard Hill, Gussage All Saints between Mead Lane and Bowerswain Hollow, a distance of approximately 250 metres. The closure has been requested to allow Centurion Traffic Management to carry out tree trimming and pruning works. These works are programmed to commence from 09:00 – 15:30 on 29th August 2024.

Centurion Traffic Management will publicise the road closure in a number of ways:

  • They will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works
  • They will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works
  • They will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The map in the original notice shows the extent of the closure and the diversion route.

Proposed temporary closure of Unnamed Road, Gussage All Saints

Dorset Council have received an application from Openreach to close Unnamed Road, Gussage All Saints between Quince Tree and Ridgwood, a distance of approximately 100 metres. The closure has been requested to allow Openreach to carry out pole installation works. These works are programmed to commence from 08:00 – 18:00 on 30th August 2024.

Openreach will publicise the road closure in a number of ways:

  • They will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works
  • They will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works
  • They will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The map in the original notice shows the extent of the closure and the diversion route.
