The external auditor has concluded its review of 2024/25 accounts:
The audit of accounts for Vale of Allen Parish Council for the year ended 31 March 2025 has been completed and the accounts have been published.
The Annual Governance & Accountability Return is available for inspection by any local government elector of the area of Vale of Allen Parish Council on application to: lan Hanstead, Parish Clerk Clerk@valeofallen-pc.gov.uk (10am to 5pm Mon to Fri).
Copies will be provided to any person on payment of £10 for each copy of the Annual Governance & Accountability Return.

A couple of comments:
- The typo on the finance page was not subject to a separate 6-week public consultation notice
- The parish council received a sum for Community Infrastructure Levy – which was incorrectly placed in ‘Precept and Levy’ box and should have been added to ‘Other Receipts’ – even though the bottom-line total was correct
