Dorset Council have received an application from Centurion Traffic Management to close Custard Hill, Gussage All Saints between Mead Lane and Bowerswain Hollow, a distance of approximately 250 metres. The closure has been requested to allow Centurion Traffic Management to carry out tree trimming and pruning works. These works are programmed to commence from 09:00 – 15:30 on 28th November 2024.
Centurion Traffic Management will publicise the road closure in a number of ways:
- they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works;
- they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works; and
- they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The map in the official notice (PDF) (embedded below as a PDF) shows the extent of the closure and the diversion route.
This post is for information only, however if you have any concerns about this proposal, please contact Jamie Igoe, (trafficteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk) by 12 November 2024.
