Dorset Council have received an application from Sunbelt Rentals on behalf of Openreach to close Lawrence Lane, Witchampton between 1 Lawrence Lane and Crichel Lane (in both directions), a distance of approximately 340 metres. The closure has been requested to allow Openreach safe access to underground structures. These works are programmed to commence between 08:00 – 16:00, from 12th December 2022 until 16th December 2022.
Sunbelt Rentals on behalf of Openreach will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works; and they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network.
