To enable Dorset Council to carry out maintenance work, they plan to close Mill Lane, Hinton Parva between 9th – 10th September 2021. The road will be closed daily between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30 but it will be open overnight and at weekends.

Dorset Council are continuing to maintain and invest in Dorset’s highway network. In recognition of the current pandemic, additional safety measures are also being taken to ensure the health and safety of workers in these unprecedented times. We are working closely with other highway authorities across the south west and with industry bodies to share knowledge of new ways of working. As you can appreciate this is a rapidly developing situation, so we are doing our best to keep Dorset’s businesses and residents up to date as work progresses. The latest information on all planned road works can be found at www.dorsetcouncil.gov.uk/roadworks
They will be repairing sections of road within the area marked in red indicated on the map in the official notice (PDF), which can also be seen below. Access will be maintained for residents.
